Townies acting as if the museum pick-starter campaign was just started

I'm in year three and have had the pickstarter campaign completed for a long time. I'm only missing one item in the entire museum. But a few townies have brought up the pick-starter again. I remembered to take a screen shot the next time it was brought up.

Hi! I'm having the same issue, also on Steam PC! Stopped to talk to Yuri and she mentioned that I was "helping with the Pickstarter" and how nice it was of me to help. I'm on Year 2 and the Pickstarter was completed ages ago

Also having this dialogue occur, I'm still in year 1 on this playthrough but in winter and the museum has been done since summer. Charles and Scott were both speaking about the pickstarter campaign for the museum as if it was still going on.

I'm also getting this bug. Year 1, 24th Summer and I completed the Pickstarter late spring :/ a lot of townies are talking about it like it hasn't been done!

I’m in fall year 2 now but some townies are still talking about the beach cleanup as if it just happened, I’m not sure what’s going on. It doesn’t affect gameplay for me at all so I’m good either way!! Thank you for checking 🙂

No Townie has mentioned the pick starter recently, but it might be possible that I just exhausted that dialogue option when it first started happening.

I just finished the dinosaur exhibit and started the hologram task, and every Townie was talking about that, so they still react appropriately when museum exhibits are finished.

It seems like the Pickstarter dialogue isn’t showing up anymore in the current version, and you’re now getting the correct dialogue about the dinosaur exhibit — that’s great to hear!

Ahh, got it! Do you remember if you talked to Scott the previous day (Fall 1 or Summer 28)?
If so, did he already mention the Beach Cleanup then? 😮

I’m sorry, I don’t remember exactly what day it was 😕 there’s just been times where npcs talk about the pickstarter (originally) and now the festivals and they say “yesterday” and it wasn’t the day before, it’s usually been a couple days. But it is always the first time I talk to them (I’m bad at grinding materials and ignoring the islanders 😂)
