Crash when picking up animal product in multiplayer

I've started playing multiplayer with a friend recently, and every time I try to pick up an animal product it crashes me. If I pick up eggs inside the coop I'm fine, but when I pick up anything on the farm (eg, truffles and feathers), it instantly crashes my game. I also noticed a lot of other desync issues and have to relog frequently.
