Multiplayer visual bug - cannot pick up or see items

My boyfriend is the host and I have had to issues with this until now. When joining the furniture in my house is gone and when I go outside the planted crops are all invisible and if i hit the area where they are planted the produce drops but vanishes if my partner is not there to pick it up. It will fly towards me and not be in my inventory when I look. If i put something in a chest it disappears as well. I have tried restarting steam multiple times as well as having my partner restart the server and nothing has fixed this. Also cannot see any trash underwater and my character is not in the diving suit but regular farm clothes. Edited to add that I also cannot see my partner's character, they are invisible, and I cannot sleep it says waiting for 0 of 1 and if he goes to sleep it starts the next day for him but not me.

Just to confirm — are both you and your partner playing on Steam PC? And you’re the guest (joining) player, correct?

When the issue happens, did you ever see any connection error message pop up?

Also, could you please share your Backup save files in a .zip file here? We’ve received your DailySave, but having the backups as well will really help the team to check this further.

Yes that is correct he is the host and I am joining, both using steam. I have not gotten any pop ups for connection errors. I'll get the backup save when I am home from work and will share it here!

A quick follow-up — did you happen to notice if your in-game ping went above 100 or turned red when the issue occurred?
Also, have you had a chance to try using a different internet connection to see if the issue persists?

The ping did not go over 100 and I have no way of using a different internet connection as I am not playing on a laptop, I'm using a gaming PC so it is stationary. Yesterday was the first time we have had any issues, and it is occurring right on login.

Thank you for the update. The team has tried to open your save file, but unfortunately, none of the issues you mentioned appeared on our side. 🙇‍♀️

Could you please try verifying the game files on Steam to see if it resolves the issue on your end? Here’s how to do that:

• Open your Steam Library.
• Right-click Coral Island → select Properties.
• Go to the Installed Files tab.
• Click Verify integrity of game files.

Once the process is complete, try launching the game again and see if the issue persists.

Sorry it has been awhile since I have been able to play, We tried again today and verified the files and it is still doing it. The save I sent over is my boyfriends since he is the host and he is not having this issue only I am.

I have the same issue, but exclusively with crops. On my partners end the crops are there, but on my end it’s empty. I can’t place seeds because there are already seeds I just cannot see them. I’m on PS5, partner on PS5 too. Host does not have any issues whatsoever for this.

My sister and I have the same visual bug with the crops. I am the host and the auto planter planted seeds in the top row which was not visible for her. After she refilled the auto planter with new seeds, she could see those. Attached are screenshots with my view and hers

I have some furniture glitches now too anything the host places I can see duplicates of stacked on top each other, or the furniture isn’t in the right place.

The crop thing is odd because for me I take care of the crops and my partner spends his time in the mines or ocean. So I’m the only one touching the seeds, but they still are not visible for me. Maybe this is only for fresh logins though because I tilled some new soil mid game and overnight those planted normal.

I would also like to note that I cannot sleep to end the day, it will say 0/1 people sleeping and my partner can sleep can it will go into another day for him while I just stay stuck in the old day.

And hey there @wise mica @steep crescent , I'm sorry to hear that you're also experiencing this issue. Could you please confirm whether the issue only occurs on soil that was tilled in a previous gameplay session, and not on any new areas you till during your current session? Does the issue only happen to newly planted seeds?

And Tea_Tessy, would you mind sharing the Host's Save File and Backup File here? To retrieve the files, you can copy-paste the following file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames then compress the SaveGames folder into a ZIP file before sending it here. It's only in soil that has already been tilled earlier, since we have automated quite a bit of the farm already. It used to happen to harvested crops, but we haven't seen that since a couple updates.

Here is the speedtest, I normally do not have any other background applications running besides a discord call and the game was working fine for nearly two in game months with me doing everything the same before this issue started. I will try again tonight without discord open and update.

Even with nothing else running at all it will not work. There is no furniture in the house when I log in, no crops outside and I still cannot sleep.

Additionally, when you log in and notice that the furniture or crops aren’t loading—as shown in the video—do they eventually appear correctly, or do they remain missing for the rest of the session? When this happens, do you also notice your in-game clock getting stuck at a certain time while the Host’s time continues to move normally? The time is stopped when this happens and the host progresses, I even tried fainting to see if it ould force me awake in the morning but it did not. Nothing loads in at all unfortunetly, they all stay invisible.

What happened when I tried to faint and the host progressed to the next day, it put me in the house like this.

It's unplayable for me, I cannot collect items they disappear and do not go into my inventory and the mines are empty too. So it is not just limited to the farm area.

And just to check, have you tried verifying your file integrity to see if it resolves the issue? To do so, please follow these steps: Go to your Steam Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Installed Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files.

I cannot fish or catch bugs, I can sometimes see them in the traps but they do not get removed if I interact with them. Both myself and the host have already verified the game files and no issues were found.
