  • Title NPC friendship leveling the wrong people
  • Reproduction Steps I give gifts and talk to certain NPCs but get hearts with completely different NPCs that I didn't even see that day. Mainly Wakuu and Leah being switched from what it seems

Could you please share a few more details about this? For example, which NPC’s hearts increased, and did you only check for one in-game day when you noticed the issue? 😮

It was multiple days. I started a new playthrough recently after buying, and it seems like Leah and Wakuu were switched. I am currently playing and the hangouts are working, but when I gifted Wakuu his muffin, I got a heart from Leah instead, even though I hadn't talked to her that day at all. None from wakuu

Ah, got it! Do you happen to have a video or screenshot of this issue? Also, do you remember if you participated in any festival when it happened? Sometimes taking part in festivals can increase your friendship hearts with the townies! 😮

Oh thanks for following up! Every now and then I get random level ups from townies, but I don't complain since it works in my favor. I guess I was just upset that the townies I wanted to level up weren't working properly. I didn't see that last message tbh. But I don't think I had been to any festivals at all since it was only the first week of spring at the time.
