  • Title pickaxe missing after upgrading to osmium, retrieval tools do not list pickaxe
  • Reproduction Steps left pickaxe at blacksmith to upgrade, the 4 day mark has come and gone plus several days and it is not available to pickup or under the retrieve my lost tools tab. Closing the game fully and reloading does nothing.

We’ve fixed the issue that caused enchantments to disappear when upgrading the pickaxe to Osmium. The fix will be included in a future update. Once the update is out, upgrading tools to Osmium will no longer remove enchantments 🙂

Unfortunately, the fix can’t restore enchantments that were already lost. The only workaround is to load a backup save before the upgrade and wait until the update is released 🙁

@copper lodge — just to clarify, this isn’t related to enchantments at all. The entire pickaxe item disappeared after leaving it for upgrade at the blacksmith. It’s not retrievable from the “lost tools” tab or in my inventory, and it’s been several in-game days since the upgrade should’ve completed.

This happened on Xbox Series X, version 1.2-1240, using a controller.

Since console players don’t have manual or multiple save slots, there’s no way to load a previous save — so this effectively softlocks progression. Please confirm whether this specific issue is being tracked separately from the enchantment bug.
