I feel like I almost never have errands available, and if I accept one that obviously takes a while (Valentina asking for star fruit during year 1 for example which is 13(ish?) days)
I wouldn't have accepted it had I known NO other errands would be available during that time. All for 1k coins but lost the ability to raise hearts with townies 🥹

@lyric bloom @unkempt barn The best way to view it is as an incentive to collect/store a variety of items, so that you can grab something from your storage if it comes up. However, they are entirely unnecessary quests and they are randomly generated still, so it’s a bit of a luck factor as well.
