The day before the host got married, then the next day went normally, we saved. when we rejoined today, only I was falling through, then my brother went into my house to move my bed since we read that helped this bug, and he started falling through as well.

Also, could you let us know how many players are in the session and each of their platforms?

10/8/2025 between 7:30-8:00 p.m. eastern approximately. There's three, the host and my brother and myself. When we first loaded in, I was out of my bed but couldn''t move then it launched me under the map. We shut the game off, verified files through steam, and reloaded. Same thing. So we looked online and people recommended to move the bed, my brother moved the bed for me and he got launched under the map. So we shut it off, reloaded, and I was then stuck in the middle of the farm falling under the map, my brother and host fine. Then it crashed around 7:40-7:50p.m.

We reloaded after looking up another method online where people said to wait until 2am, let the end of day pop up, and when the next day starts it should fix; it did not. So then we closed the game and haven't logged back on

we don't want to corrupt the file and have to start over. I just don't know what caused the bug or how to fix it, if it can be, or if we have to wait to play until another update

Sorry about that. I'm guessing here but her players wedding was Summer 2, we played summer 3, Summer 4 is where I fell through. After trying those recommendations and failing, I stayed in map falling until 2 am, and then Summer day 5 loaded in with me still falling, so we closed game.

I know for sure a new season just started because I had to redo my crops and I planted blueberries. And I believe her wedding was summer 2, so between 3-6 summer days

Correct. Im constantly in a falling loop under map. My brother had the issue when he moved my bed but when we reloaded, him and host were fine. I'm still stuck falling under map in the middle of farm

We’ve actually received a similar report here, and I noticed you’ve already commented there — thank you for that! We’re still gathering more info, as we haven’t been able to reproduce the issue on our end yet.

Just to confirm — before this happened, did you happen to use the Warp Sesajen or ride your horse when returning to your farmhouse the day before the issue occurred? And, do you happen to have any screenshots or videos related to this issue?

I didn't use either because I don't have them, the horse nor the warp sesajen. I don't have a video but in that thread the original posts videos are exactly the same to mine, how they're centered in map and falling. just like it

the day before I didn't do much. The host just wanted to use that day to decorate their house since they just got married. I ran to buy more seeds, they were closed, ran back to my house, waited for the day as they decorated, then slept. We logged off, loaded back in next day and I was falling through map

Since you're playing on Steam, there’s actually a way to use the Backup save file on the host’s end to revert to the previous day before the issue occurred, so you can continue playing.

If you’d like to try that, here’s how:

  • Go to your SaveGames folder.
  • Find your Backup save file named SaveBackup_0_4 (file for Summer 4).
  • Copy that file and move it into the same SaveGames folder where your other saves are.
  • Rename the file to match the save format: DailySave_[number].sav

Make sure the number is different from your existing DailySave files.

  • Once renamed, the save should appear in your game.

Alternatively, you can try crafting a Warp Sesajen to fast travel and get out of the falling loop.
If you haven’t unlocked it yet, another player can help by completing the Rare Altar in the Lake Temple to unlock the item.

I tried having the host backup file and I'm still falling through the map.
We have 40 hours in this game, co-op playthrough, that's gone to waste over a bug that cannot be fixed. They don't want to play the game without me to work toward the altar to get a warp totem for me, understandably, because I started with them from day one. This is incredibly displeasing and frustrating that a bug ruined an entire playthrough with no work around. And the reddit threads and other complaints through discord, this bug I'm facing has been since inception of the game.
I am aware that games run into bugs, however, this is not in early access and its inexcusable that there's no work around and I'm told to backup a file or work on a challenging altar to get it, not even me, but my friends who would have to drop everything to work on that altar just to get me to be able to play the game.
I was patient, we tried multiple different ways to rectify the issue, and now my only option is to restart, which I refuse after 40 hours dedicated to a playthrough with my friends and I.
