Title: Part1: I am the HOST on Steam PC and play with my brother (also Steam PC). Only I, as the host, experience these crashes -he doesn't. First, when entering the Bathhouse OR when entering Jack/Kira/Kenny's cabin, I will always crash. This happens no matter what - whether or not my brother is in the game. It doesn't matter how I enter it either - walking up to it or even transporting during a "hangout cutscene" results in a guaranteed crash. These are the only 2 buildings I've experienced this with but I don't have the map fully unlocked. This issue specifically started happening when the bathhouse was cleared out and opened by the forest spirits. I also got the letter to check out the Jack's cabin the same day - since then, neither building has been accessible by me (my brother P2 can go in).

Part 2: I've had crashes in various spots of the entire Forest region (I'll upload file if possible). This seems to be the most apparent during "transitionary" periods such as early morning or late afternoon when characters are moving out and about. This also happens regardless of if my brother is in the game at the moment. He doesn't experience these

Reproduction Steps: At any given moment (during "open hours"), go to the bathhouse or Jack/Kira/Kenny's cabin and attempt to enter it. This will be instant crash. Dash around the forest during morning or dusk, this may crash occassionally
Repro Rate: Every single time for the buildings, occasionally for the forest
In-Game Date & Time: Mid-Spring Year 1 - after Day 14. Unsure exactly. Happened after "cleaning out" bathhouse and receiving letter to visit cabin on the same day
Players & Platform: 2 players, both PC/Steam. Host has PC and P2 has Laptop
Game Version: 1.2-1240 (issue started in previous version (1.2-1239)) - did not play prior
Input Mode: KBM
PC Specs: RTX 2080ti + Ryzen 7 3700 (Host Desktop). RTX 4060 + Ryzen 5 7640 (P2 Laptop)

Hello @sudden monolith,
I'm sorry to hear about the multiple crashes you've encountered. Thank you for letting us know. 🙏

Could you share a screenshot of the in-game Display Settings with us?

Have you had a chance to check if your GPU drivers are up to date?
Also, could you try verifying the game files on Steam? Here’s how:

  • Right-click Coral Island in your Steam Library
  • Select Properties
  • Go to the Installed Files tab
  • Click Verify integrity of game files…

Let us know how it goes!

Hey @dry spindle Okay so verifying the files worked for both locations!! I was also on a GPU driver back from June but that didn’t seem to fix it (I think the driver update has made the forest area a little smoother tho).

I’ve attached my graphics settings just in case. I run 1440p on a 4K monitor because running 4K for this game has too many hiccups atm

hey @dry spindle just updating you, there hasn't been an issue with any of these so far. I think we're good 🙂
