Swimming with fish tail on land

I just finished the story quest of bringing the merfolk expedition party up on land and after exiting cutscene, I still had my fish tail and diving interface on

Reproduction Steps:

1. meet the merfolk underwater as per the quest (it was summer 22, if timing is relevant since it can be accomplished on a number of available days)
2. proceed with cutscenes (I chose the 2nd dialogue option > 1st dialogue option > 2nd dialogue option)
3. Complete the cutscene and reappear outside the inn

**i reset the anchor before going in the water to put it in the correct location for the objective as well if that's a factor

Game Platform: Steam (on PC)

Game Version: Build version v1.2-1240

Input Mode: PS4 Dualshock Controller

Save file attached is the save from the beginning of the day (summer 22)

update: just tried reloading the day, and the same bug occurred! accidentally chose the 1st dialogue option for the first instance of being given choices but the bug still happened anyway. I tried resetting the UI and fish tail by returning underwater via dive site and going back up to the surface and it fixed things up at least

Known bug, just go back underwater and back on land. It should fix it, and don't go into barns and coops or the game will crash

Yeah, I just got this one too, except in Spring. So it's an issue with the quest itself, I think.

In the meantime, you can try what wecouldtalk suggested - head back underwater and then return to land - to see if it helps.
