wanting to make sure this isn’t just an us thing before i put it in the bugs channel. is anyone else having issues with getting pets on co-op? my friend is hosting and when i try to adopt it says only the host can. if thats the case, could she adopt for me and we put the bed in my house? wanting to ask before we waste the money trying 😅

so she places a bed in my home, would that make the pet stay with me? or does it have to be placed in her home?

I haven’t tried to place the bed in my house as the non-host. You can’t gain friendship with the pet. When you look at the family tree the hearts on the pet will be locked for you but not the host. When you interact with the pet, you’ll get a generic static dialogue while the host gets unique dialogue. I really hope they change this.

The pets only stay in the hosts home. Placing a bed in your home won't do anything
