Multiplayer Crashing

Hi been playing today and was having a wonderful time in multiplayer but there has been constant crashing saying the host have disconnected from the internet but haven't which has made things pretty annoying as we hav progress that had to be repeatedly done.

Could you let us know which platform the Host and Guest are playing from (Steam PC/Deck, Xbox PC/S/X, PlayStation 5) and your current version of the game? If the issue happens again, could you send a screenshot of the error message that comes with the crash/disconnection?

I am playing steam version coral island 1.2. the message was " you are disconnect due to internet issues but it still worked. I will send one tomorrow.

Jumping in on this, My friend also regularly disconnects from my hosted game. Though the message she recieved didn't talk about a host, just constant disconnects

I still have similar issues, when my bf and i keep playing it keeps either crashing or disconnecting THEN crash

Oh I see 🥺 Did the crash happen immediately after you clicked on the Multiplayer Save File? Are you experiencing similar issue with your Singleplayer Save File as well?

And would you mind sending in the latest crash log here so we can further review it? To retrieve it, copy-paste the following file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes then filter the date to the most recent one and attach the .xml file here.

ive also been experiencing crashing on xbox, we take turns hosting and crashing occurs alot for us as well. we just experienced about 7 crashes and disconnects within the past hour even with full game restarts. Wanted to comment on this as i saw the report, it doesnt seem tied to anything in particular as even us just standing outside in the farm we are seeing disconnects and crashes.

Since this doesn’t appear to be related to crashes that occur directly when opening the save file, would you mind creating a separate post so we can track each issue more accurately? I open another world seems fine until random things like walking into a room it freeze then crashes

Hello, i have some similar issue with this thread. from my experience with my friend, she often disconnects from the host within casual activities, or even when she enters loading screen/changes map/enters barn.

Last dc crash was her waiting for me (the host) to fall asleep in the game as she waits for another player to sleep, she disconnect right at that moment.

Heyya i am the friend, my wifi and everything was all okay and i even tried to use VPN but i guess that wasn't the issue

I keep crashing randomly at times so i cannot pinpoint when is the exact event it did, i would just do normal farming, going to the pier or even just visiting stores and i will still get disconnected at random

I’m having the same issue as this as well just thought I would second this.

On PS5 platform to clarify

On my end my partner and I are hard wired into the internet at the same home, on fiber internet connection. Internet tests perfectly, we’re connected to PSN, I can connect to other multiplayer games. It seems there is no real association to having internet issues when this error comes up. We get this during everyday playing nothing in particular. The host does not crash, it is just the second player and in order to reconnect we have to fully close the game and even restart the PS5 and then the game proceeds as normal.

This was pre-latest update I haven’t had it happen since last week I should mention.

hello there, i was running the game and try to went through half a day ingame and then i got disconnected, this is my internet speed and afterwards i got disconnected again and i try to test my speed again, it's still more or less the same

Hello, i tested my connection, it's fine, but again my friend keep disconnecting endlessly. previously before the big update, we're playing just fine, with the same wifi and the same internet speed

Hello there! So i want to report again that i did get disconnected once but it was ok, but suddenly i got a crash notification

i think the game has very high RAM usage and i tested this with closing discord and the usage is still very high, i don't think the game was this heavy before

I have been on vacation so I won’t play for a little while longer but when I get back on I can. When I run the speed test I’m on PS5 however and running the test closes the game. Unless I should run it from another device?
