Reproduction Steps
Perhaps the most convenient crash timing ever? The game had just saved, I checked a few menu tabs (quests, relationships), and then went to the pause menu, selected quit to desktop, and as I was clicking yes to confirm, the crash dialog appeared.
Repro Rate I was able to reproduce the crash an additional 2 times in a row after the initial crash just by confirming the quit to desktop at the start of the day, no additional activity in the day. Choosing return to title did not cause a crash.
I played through the in-game day and tested closing to desktop the next in-game morning, and that did not cause a crash.

Did the crash when quitting the game happen again after updating to v1.2-1240?

I have only had about 2 gaming sessions since these reported crashes, both sessions after the update to v1.2-1240. No further crashes have occurred, though!
