We just hit S-Rank and my husband (who is 2nd player in our game) can no longer access the merit shop either at the Community Center nor on the computer. His inventory screen doesn't even show how many merits he has anymore. Including screenshots; we are on PS5.

Could you share a screenshot of the Town Rank menu from both your POV and your husband’s?
Also, just to confirm—did you both reach Town Rank S on Summer 17, and then see the issue on Summer 18 on his side?

It randomly worked the next time we loaded up the game and he was able to buy the scarecrows. Not sure what had caused it. I had no issues with the shop.

I just experienced this issue yesterday. Merit points completely removed from my character. I am P2, sister is host. Both are on PC. They do not show in my inventory, and on the computer the merit store is also gone.
I will get the game files from yesterday.

Could you also please send us the host’s SaveGames folder along with any video or screenshot showing the issue (like the missing merit points or merit store)?
The hosts can find it by copy and paste this into the File Explorer's address bar: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames
