Water mine not available after reaching level 40 in the Earth mine

• Title I am trying to enter the water mine but the door is not open even after reaching level 40 in the Earth mine. I did all the Chefstain cutscenes with Grog and the Giant village and nothing seems to work. I didnt get any cutscene about the water gate opening.

• Reproduction Steps I reached level 40 in the Earth mine and went on with the giant village and all. I have the quest for freeing the water giant but the door remains closed.

• Repro Rate it’s been several days and the door will not open.

Hi @idle horizon , thank you for reaching out to us! How many in-game days have it been since you completed the Earth Mine? Have you tried quitting the game, then logging back in to see if you are able to access the Water Mine that way?

Hi, I completed it in the fall and I’m already in Winter 21. I tried different things and nothing seems to work. I logged out, I uninstalled the game and installed it again. I keep doing other stuff to see if that somehow activated the mine but nothing.

Do you remember what exactly were you doing before you finished the Earth Mine? Did you skip the cutscene upon reaching Level 40?

I do not remember any cutscene about the door opening but I did go through all the Chefstein and Grog cutscenes about the village. The couldn’t interact with the green rock at level 40 tho

Do you remember what you were doing in the game before reaching level 40 and finishing the "Petrified Giant I" quest? What method did you use to progress through each level (e.g. pickaxe, explosives, or rope)? Any detail you remember can help us further investigate the issue!

I was stuck in level 30 for a bit. I just used my pickaxe, no bombs nor ropes. I also did the last 10 levels again to see if something else happened. It didn’t.

Did you happen to reach level 40 late at night? Do you remember if you were low on stamina when you reached level 40?

It was not late, and I was not low on stamina

Before you reached level 40, do you remember how many levels you went through—such as whether you started consecutively from level 30? Also, do you recall if your stamina dropped to zero at any point before reaching level 40? Any details you can share would be really helpful!

I was doing just five levels per day, until I reach level 30. I needed to go through the whole 10 bc there was no “checkpoint” or whatever they’re called. My stamina didnt drop bc I was prepared for the 10 levels, I brought food and everything. I went through the 10 levels quite fast, just using my pickaxe and finding the holes.

Any suggestions? 😭 I do not want to start a new game, I’ve been putting a lot of effort into this one

We're still actively investigating this issue and could use a bit more information to help us narrow things down. When you have a moment, could you let us know what you were doing just before heading into the mine? It would also be helpful if you could share the approximate in-game time when you went mining and the types of food you brought along with you.

Additionally, if possible, could you record a short video showing your completed quests—specifically that you’ve finished Petrified Giant I—and that you now have the next quest? After that, please show that the Water Mine is still closed. A simple phone recording is perfectly fine and would be a huge help in our investigation!

It’s been a month since I posted this, also I posted weeks after I noticed the mine didnt open.
In the pictures I shared with you in this post you can see that I do have the quest for Giant II, but as soon as I get back to the game I’ll record it.
I don’t remember the time, nor the food I carried.
The only thing I missed in the game was the “plant a tree” kind of festival? There was no globe or anything regarding a festival, I did not know this was another issue in the game at that moment so I just missed the festival, I still have the quest pending.

Thanks for sharing some additional information! One more thing, when you mentioned that you missed the Tree Planting Festival, could you confirm if you finished the Earth Mine on Spring 21?

If finished the mine way after the festival, I’d say mid summer, not sure on the exact date.
