#Dropped item not picking back up

So this issue has persisted across multiple days and relaunching the game. I dropped an item to make room for another, but when I circled back the item I dropped was no longer able to be picked up. It is now just sitting on my farm with no means to cover or remove it. See attached screen capture for more.

Hi @lunar sand , thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to our attention! We’ve received reports that items left floating on the ground and the team is currently working on a fix.

In the meantime, here are a couple of workarounds you can try:

  • Pick up any floating items before ending the day to prevent this from happening.
  • If the issue has already occurred, you can reload your save from the day before and make sure to clear the items before sleeping.

For items left floating before the v1.2-1239 update, unfortunately, they’ll remain stuck until the fix is released.

It might be a bit because they have to update consoles and PC at the same time (because otherwise multiplayer breaks) and for console fixes they have to wait on Microsoft and Sony to give the go ahead.
