Hi! I keep getting UE4 crashes...quite a lot and want to make sure it's not my system. The game will crash, AMD and UE4 will say there is a crash, and my screen is entirely black until I hit the reset button on my pc or force quit the game if I had task manager open on my monitor that was not my main monitor the game crashed on if I was playing in full screen mode to force quit the game.
Reproduction Steps: This varies every time. I think it may have to do with tabing in/out of the game and/or clicking off the game to some other program like explorer, edge, spotify, apple music, etc. It doesn't matter what I've done in game up until that point, it's been different every time. I've mined, pet animals, just been dashing through town, tilling the soil on my farm, harvesting crops, clearing the ocean, etc. Sometimes it has crashed and it's been on the pause screen because I was tabbed out at the time it crashed
Repro Rate: typically only if I've been playing the game for more than 2 hours at a time
Game Platform: Steam PC (have not had any crashes on steam deck if that helps)
Game Version: current version and previous versions
Input Mode: Keyboard and mouse
PC and GPU specs details:
Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 128GB ram, Windows 11 Pro 24H2, RX 7900XTX 24GB.
Crash log: I attached the 5 crashes I had in the last 2 weeks, all the same thing happened.
