I am so irritated. I was just clearing some grass and crashed at the end of a day where I'd done a LOT of things. Now I have to redo everything. If your game keeps crashing like this please give us a way to save the game.

implementing a new way to save would require a complete overhaul of the game. which in turn would cause even more issues. if your getting frustrated id suggest taking a bit of a break until the issues get fixed. devs r working super hard

I know this is really frustrating when this happens. My game crashed during my wedding ceremony, so trust me, I get it. ❤️ I'm sure someone on the team will be able to get back to you. And every report you post helps, because it helps them get down to the nitty gritty as to why something is happening. ❤️

Could you share the crash logs so our team can take a closer look?

You can find them by copying and pasting this into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes

Once you're there, filter the files by date and grab the most recent two .xml files (since you had two crashes), then send them here. Thanks a lot! 🙌

Okay, so slight issue. I just realised the .xml file I sent you is actually from 2024. The link you gave me doesn't have any recent crashes on it. It just has one folder and then it has the 2024 files (screenshots below).

Ah, thanks for clarifying! It seems the issue doesn’t generate a crash log when it happens 😮

Could you also share a screenshot of all your in-game display settings? You can find them by opening Settings > Display inside the game 🙂

I play lots of games regularly, particularly the ones under favourites below, and I don't have an issue with anything else. I also didn't have an issue with Coral Island until the recent update.

Thanks for sharing the screenshot of your settings! I see the quality preset is already set to High and the FPS is limited to 30. Hmm, it’s strange that the freezing still happens 😮

Could you try this instead: switch the graphics card Coral Island uses to the High Performance one? Here are the steps:

• Type Graphics Settings in the Start menu.
• Click Desktop App.
• Select the Coral Island application.
• Click Options.
• Set the graphic preference to High Performance.

How do I choose Coral Island? There's no option once I select Desktop app.

Can you try looking for the Coral Island application? If you installed it on your D: drive, the file path should be: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Coral Island
