Dropped Resources Not Being Picked Up - Staying On Ground

When I started playing the game, Spring Year 1, dropped some resources like fiber, tree seeds, and trash from around my farm and town. I wasn't able to pick up everything, but after I made space in my inventory, those items still aren't being picked up. I thought it was a glitch and I'd either a) Be able to pick them over when the season changed, or b) They'd disappear from the ground. I'm into Winter Year 1, and still have the same resources just inaccessible, laying on the ground. My own farm, along the beach, and underwater. I just started playing, so not sure if this is a known glitch, or being worked on, but it's certainly annoying lol. Playing on Steam v 1.2-1239 using Xbox controller.

Hi @gray geyser , thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! The team is aware of this issue and we are currently working on a fix.

In the meantime, here are a couple of workarounds you can try:

• Pick up any floating items before ending the day to prevent this from happening.
• If the issue has already occurred, you can reload your save from the day before and make sure to clear the items before sleeping.

For items left floating before the v1.2-1239 update, unfortunately, they’ll remain stuck until the fix is released.

We know this isn’t ideal and really appreciate your patience and understanding while we work on resolving it. Thanks so much

same same! I am a mess of a player but I go on these ocd decorating and organizing kicks, was just utterly flustering

Just understand mods are not supported so if you run into any more issues the devs can not help you

this is true and wise to make a copy of your game directory prior to installinga any mods

Even if you delete or remove the mods you will be on your own. Once a mod has touched the file it has been altered

not if you just revert back to your untainted copy?

granite you might roll back your current save

but atleast the fix will be in place when ever that occurs

that clutter is legit just a bother to some people to the point of not playing, how not getting hotfix out for it wsant top of the agenda is beyond me. not trying to bash, i love the game

And depending on how long it takes for a fix you could be years into the game. Most won’t want to go back that far

Mp broke a lot. They are also trying to push the fixes across platforms at the same time which due to how consoles work it takes longer
