Dating/Marriage MP-NPC

Hi !
I’m playing in a multiplayer save with my gf and we’ve married each other within the game. Since I realized once you upgrade the house that you still had the original NPC spouse room, I thought I could date them unlocking all hangout and giving them the locket necklace. But somehow, they stay as “friend” even though it tells me I’m already dating them, does that means that I’m just stuck because I’m married MP or is it a bug ?

you have to do all your dating before marriage

I did got all the 10 hearts, I just can’t do the couple hangouts somehow like in a basic game once you’re dating them

If you are already married, correct, you cannot do the couple hangouts

There is no dating after marriage

Thought it would work with NPC’s as there isn’t any romance action with your MP spouse
