Some players have managed to get past the prompt by connecting a mouse and clicking through, though this workaround doesn’t always work for everyone. Still, it might be worth trying while the team works on a permanent fix.

It’s simply absurd that a game that isn’t cheap has so many problems. Losing 99 hours of gameplay to a bug that breaks the entire game is unacceptable. It’s even more frustrating that it hasn’t been fixed yet, and we probably have to wait months for an update that might resolve it—it’s unbelievable.

Yes! Exactly this. And I'm sitting here watching the dev diary channel get updated with things like "Fixed Charlie's gym outift", "working on music for the new festival" and it's like... seriously? There are game breaking bugs REPEATEDLY reported and you're focusing energy on cosmetic issues and working on things that aren't even out yet? The game is literally unplayable for some people. It's absolutely unbelievable.

For now, if we can make it possible to select the option, then I think it would be fine to fix any bugs that arise later, so would it be difficult to quickly fix just the selection part and distribute an update?

The issue where you couldn’t select the baby in multiplayer while using a controller has been fixed in our latest update v1.2-1240. Please update your game to see the improvement.
