Due to a bug, our timer kept running and a very important cutscene involving the underwater people was interrupted. As a result, we can't complete the quest, which now prevents us from continuing underwater. What should we do?

There were two of us players, both on PlayStation 5 with one controller.

I was in a cutscene with one character; it was a cutscene for a heart event in front of the mine with a female character. At the same time, my friend went into the underwater village for the first time, where there seemed to be three different cutscenes. I only got to the first one when she was already in the second one. During the second one, I think we heard the noise for midnight and shortly afterwards the day ended during the second cutscene. Now the quest is shown under active quests for us, but everything is completed according to the quest.

The only similarity I see right now is that the quest is not completed and the mermaids are all invisible.
