No cooking channel on Friday Winter 19 (Year 2)

• Reproduction Steps: wake up Friday Winter 19, interact with TV - no cooking channel. Restarting the game or reloading the save does not fix it.
• Repro Rate: 100% when reloading the day or restarting

Did the day before: all the Winter Fair games. Bought the clothes from the Winter Fair stall. some underwater foraging at 50m depth. The usual routine of farming, ranching and shipping. Added some barrels and an auto chest in cellar.

Notable about current day: pop-up message about a completed dinosaur hologram.

Hi @woven cloak , thank you for reaching out to us! Do you usually check the channels regularly? Did it only happen for the first time on Winter 19, or have you ever notice it missing on any other day?

It was also missing the next Friday (Winter 26). I check the TV every morning - could I have simply run out of cooking episodes?

Here is my report since I was told to (re)post it here as well

Title: Cooking Channel on a Friday Disappeared for good?!

Reproduction Steps: Yesterday, I played, currently at year 4, my character woke up Friday Fall 13 interacted with TV after giving husband hug and kiss - no cooking channel option but rest are there. I restarted the game previous day from backup and same thing happened to me like the other player except I play solo on Xbox. I continued on playing after reloading the backup for another week just to hit Fall 20. The cooking show didn’t pop up as an option yet again. My character’s usual routine is wake up, give Semeru his gift, then talk, hug/kiss soon followed by checking the tv for weather then on Fridays weather the cooking show before doing the usual farming/hangouts.

Repro Rate: 3x in a row since I did the backup after catching myself first time around and then Fall 20 arrived and that makes it 3.

Game Version: v1.2-1239

I’m sure I lost that option good for now until it gets fixed (Like how I lost my hangout option with Semeru with his sudden 15 empty hearts that was previously reported)😭😭. I do have a handful more recipes to unlock and in currently sitting in Rank A about 92 pts away from Rank S. I never had any issues with game until the last few weeks. -thanks-

It seems to be due to having tun out of cooking channel episodes? If that is the reason, I think showing re-runs (and also adding (re-run) to the channel name) would be a better solution. That would be more similar to real life and would let the player know that it's not a bug and that they've simply run out of new episodes

Oh it will definitely let you know if cooking show is something you already seen. It doesn’t do that new recipe pop up notification at all ☺️ I know some episodes the first 2 years I skipped on some since I didn’t focus on it as much and was too busy on increasing the cash flow in order to purchase equipment items and produce quality upgrades . I’ve run into a lot of rerun recipes since I didn’t keep track of which Friday I skipped.
