#sea scavengeable?

Hello @wild tinsel,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention! š
Could you let us know which platform youāre playing on and your current game version?
Just to confirm ā you had the Junonia Shell in your inventory, but the crafting recipe still didnāt recognize it, correct? If youāre able to replicate the issue and share a short clip, that would be super helpful for our investigation.
Thanks so much! š
yea i had them in my inventory that 47 screen shot was from my bag, i play on pc through steam.
Copy that! Could you also share your save file with us? You can find it by opening File Explorer and copy-pasting this path:
%localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames [DailySave_(number).sav]
this?
Yup, thatās right! Iāll pass this along to the team for checking. If we need any more info, weāll reach out to you. Thanks a bunch for your help!
Hi @wild tinsel! We checked with the team, and the Junonia Shell (along with other items you usually find on the beach) isnāt categorized as a Sea Scavengeableāeven though you can find it in the ocean.
Itās actually part of the Beach Scavengeable category. Sea Scavengeables are only items that can be processed with the dehydrator, so this isnāt a bug.
You can also check the details of the category in our Wiki here https://coralisland.wiki/wiki/Forageable
Hopefully, it will clear things up for you. If you run into anything else, donāt hesitate to reach out. Thanks again!
its categorized in game as a sea scavengable so you guys may wanna change that, like secret categories hidden in the game usually arent desirable
@wild tinsel hi, not a dev, but a little perceptive from a long time player.
Junonia shell was previously available only on the beach. But since it was required for crafting underwater crops and the spawns of it on the beach were too low, team listening to feedback put them in the ocean.
So even though they are in the ocean, they are still technically beach scavangeables like a murex for example.
If in the game youāve seen categorized as specifically a sea scavangable attach screenshot so that devs can fix it.
And always you can leave a feedback #š¤coral-feedback
thats too convoluted for a new player, shouldnt need background lore on terms
I'm just providing some context. And feedback channel is always open
