I played this morning for an hour and saved just fine, exited to the title screen and checked that the file updated to the day i left off on, and that was totally fine. So I shut down my pc and went to work. The power didn't go out and nobody used the computer, but when I opened the game just now, my save file is gone...

This is my first playthrough with well over 100 hours in... I had a lot completed and was excited to finish a few more things, but it looks like that is no longer an option...

If there is some way to recover a save file, I'm open to any help I can get. If there is any other information I can provide, I'll do so happily. Someone please help.

Save file on Steam are located typically in C:\Users\ (CURRENT USER) \AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames

From there, you should see your saves named DailySave_#.sav, where # is a number. There is also a backup save folder there called Backup. Go in that and see if you see any files title something like SaveBackup.sav

Thank you for the quick replies! After looking in the project coral folder and many other places, I don't see any saved or savegames folders. I know I have it synced to the cloud, but I'm not 100% sure what that means.

When I was able to play, I couldn't get any of my display settings to stay applied - they would always revert when I start a new session. Also, a few of the last couple times I played, I did a day or 2, but would come back the next day to find my save file reverted to Spring 18 instead of 19 or 20. Just in case any of this is related.

Make a bug report with screenshots of your game, your savegames folder and steam cloud link content.
And describe situation, in the report they will figure
