I am at the 4th or 5th heart event, where you are meant to go to the blacksmith place around 10am-5pm, but it wont trigger for me. I've relogged and that has done nothing. I don't know how to get it to trigger.... I'm on MP, so I'm not sure if it's bugged, but idk what to do. I've done all the other events before it also.

That sounds like it's a hangout and not an event, can you please add the a screenshot to confirm? Heart events will show you the information at the top, events only show 'hangout' at the bottom. The symbols on the screen are different as well, heart for a heart event, arrow for a hangout

That's the hangout event, not a heart event. You need just need to ask him to hangout and further raise your relationship to unlock the 5 heart event since you're only at 4 hearts.
As the person above stated the heart events will tell you how to trigger the cutscenes. The hangout events only say you need to hangout.
