#multiplayer crash when picking up animal products outside of barn

Title: I am player 2 on someone else's hosted game. Any time an animal drops an item outside of the barn (peacock feathers, truffles, luwak beans etc.) trying to pick it up crashes my game. The host can pick it up fine. I can pick up the items inside the barn fine. Only when its outside on the ranch does it crash. I am playing on PC.
Reproduction Steps: After an animal drops an item outside of the barn, I go to try and pick it up. Every time the game will crash to desktop with an error log.
Repro Rate: Every single time
In-Game Date & Time: Any time
Players & Platform: 2 players, I was player 2.
Game Version: 1.2-1239
Input Mode: Keyboard and Mouse
