Could you confirm if Coral Island is installed on your SSD instead of the HDD? Also, have you had a chance to ensure both your GPU drivers and Windows are fully updated?

I confirm coral island is on my SSD, and all my drivers are up to date.

i have the same issue with my coral island on SSD. Fullscreen, 2560 x 1440 ( i am on a wide screen), render scale 100, fps limit 120, vsync on, brightness 5 anti aliasing AA, temporal upsampling off, AA quality epic, textures epic, shadow epic, PP epic visual effect epic, foliage epic, view distance ultra, plant high, ambient occulsion epic, motion blur high

Hi everyone!
So sorry for the delayed response. 🙏 After the hotfix update to v1.2-1240, are you still experiencing the game freezing when staying in the pause screen for some time?

If so, and if you get a chance to play again, could you please share a video showing the issue? A phone-recorded video works perfectly fine.

Hi, sorry i'm so bothered by the crashs since 2 months by now to have the energy to complain.

I don't receive crash logs. I have to disconnect my windows session to make my pc work again, alt f4 don't work when your game crashes. I paused in the mine then it crashed today.

  1. Is your NVIDIA driver fully up to date, and have you tried verifying the game files on Steam?

  2. Which display mode were you using when the crash occurred (Fullscreen / Windowed / Borderless)?

  3. Do you have any overlays enabled (Discord, Steam, NVIDIA, Xbox Game Bar, etc.)?

  4. Are you playing on Windows 10 or Windows 11?

Do you have any overlays enabled (Discord, Steam, NVIDIA, Xbox Game Bar, etc.)? ** Steam by defaut but i don't use it, nothing else, just the optimisation from nvidia driver.**

Are you playing on Windows 10 or Windows 11? Windows 10, like a lot of people

Here, today's video. The game is froze there. Can't move the mouse. You can see i can't use the planner tab even if i try to get there. The only solution i have is to disconnect my session to force stop your game.

I wasn't even at the enchanting tab anymore, i was at it 30s ago. I was just walking near the blacksmith, the game choose to show the enchanting tab froze after i tried to tab elsewhere.

Could you please try these two things and see if they help with the freezing:

  1. Change the display mode
    Try switching between Fullscreen, Borderless, and Windowed to see if one behaves more stably.

  2. Try switching DirectX mode
    In Steam → right-click Coral Island → Properties → Launch Options
    Enter:
    -dx11

If the freeze still happens, try changing it to:
-dx12

Sometimes the rendering mode can cause GPU hangs on specific systems, so this test will help us narrow things down.
