After being ejected from diving because the time was 23:00 i had the talk with ling because i had just restored my 20 coral thing and seen the merfolk.
After this exchange i wanted to teleport back to my farm but saw that i could teleport to the first cave underwater.
Think ''huh i wonder if i can keep diving if i teleport here'' i tried to teleport.
I got back underwater and then my screen just faded to black and it just stays black now forcing me to restart the game
I play on steam and the day was the 27 of spring

Oh interesting, I didn't realize there were issues even beyond the 23:00 auto-removal time causing the black screen if using fast travel, but I guess I didn't test going back down after. However, it might be the same bug as the one they are already working on:

If so, it seems that getting kicked out of the water after fast travelling is what triggers the bug, so either diving from the pier or making sure you exit diving before getting automatically pulled out is the current recommendations they've been giving.
