Harvested Crops Stay on the Ground Forever and couldn't auto-pickup

My friend in co-op was using scythe to cut crops but they couldn't auto-pick everything in time before we need to leave to attend the Cherry Blossom Festival. This resulting in leaving harvested crops on the ground. When we finished from the festival we just went to bed and the day was saved.

We exited the game and re-enter the server the next day. Now we are seeing those harvested crops on the ground and couldn't pick up nor auto-pickup is affective.
So we exited the game again. I tried verified the game file through Steam Client and we both got back into the server. Same thing happen and we still couldn't pick them up and they are now just stay there frozen and clogging the view of the farm.

We also tried cutting the new crops and they are being auto-picked fine. We also make sure that we have empty slots in the backpack.

Reproduction Steps (Possibility)

1. Leave plant-relate item, i.e. tree seeds, crops, crop seed bag, on the ground over night in-game,
2. Try to pick them up the next day in-game

Players & Platform: 2 players joined and both on PC.
Input mode: The host is on keyboard and another player is on Xbox controller.

I’m also noticing sprinklers bugging after moving them with the architect table as well. They aren’t watering their full squares

this one was in the beta and I think I had it in my solo game to in 1.1, break the sprinkler with a axe/pickaxe and place it again and it will start working again

I have this issue- it's really bad. On Steam PC. I have multiple piles of stuff on the ground that i couldn't pick up due to inventory space and when I came back with empty inventory it was bugged. It's now there forever even spanning seasons and restarting the game.

It's the same with me on PS5. All the resources are remaining on the ground and can't be picked up.

Hi everyone!

We’ve received reports that items left floating on the ground before going to sleep may end up stuck the next day. The team is aware of this and is working on a fix.

In the meantime, here are a couple of workarounds you can try:

• Pick up any floating items before ending the day to prevent this from happening.
• If the issue has already occurred, you can reload your save from the day before and make sure to clear the items before sleeping.

For items left floating before the v1.2-1239 update, unfortunately, they’ll remain stuck until the fix is released.

We know this isn’t ideal and really appreciate your patience and understanding while we work on resolving it. Thank you!
