Hi @serene plover , thank you for reaching out to us! Does the crash occur for everyone or is it only limited to the Host? And could you confirm if the game crash during end-of-day screen every time you trigger a cutscene during the day?

# daring ocean Hi <@111515137483038720> , thank you for reaching out to us! Does the crash occu...

Only me (the host) hard crashes, everyone else disconnects.

It only crashes at the end of the day, but it's a consistent crash.

We're not sure if it's because we completed the silver cave or because we activated the 2 altars in the bottom left of zone 5, or if it's because we have a pending house upgrade

But it's always at the end of the day.

Considering it's crashing in the call to the ProcessCutscene() functionI can only guess it's trying to trigger a cutscene related to one of those 3 states but somehow failing spectacularly.

However it's making progress impossible at the moment.

It's worth noting that the silver cave getting completed is done by player 2, not the host. The host bought the house upgrade the day before, and activated the 2 underwater altars

#

For what's it's worth as well, I did not see any cutscenes myself during the day when it crashes

debug notes;

  • skipping to the next day; No crash
  • Completing silver cave (solo); No crash
  • Completing 2 underwater Altars (solo): No Crash
#

(Currently testing just doing the 2 underwater altars + silver cave)

  • upping museum to 180 + 2 altars
  • Mine + museum no crash
#

our running theory is that doing the 2 things at the same time caused a cutscene to get queued that was causing the crash

#

that or the fact the non-host triggered the water/iron cave cutscene while the host was doing underwater stuff

doing the silver mine first, ending the day early and then doing the other stuff managed to get it un-stuck

I had the same issue with doing the silver mine and the host completing the first area of the ocean. It crashed twice, both times when we went to sleep

Thanks for sharing your findings and testing out the cause @serene plover , we'll keep it in mind as we continue to investigate the issue!

And @ripe knot , Just to follow up on your confirmation about completing the Silver Mine and the Se Pulu area at the same time—could you share a bit more detail on which player is completing which part? And if you could replicate the issue, could you record a video and send it here so we can take a closer look?

The host was the one completing the Se Pulu area and I was the second player (there were only the two of us) and was completing the silver mine. We tried a third time but did the two things on separate days (first the Se Pulu cleanup and talking to Ling) and it went to the end of day screens just fine that time. We tried to avoid any cut scenes the day we did the silver mine, but we ended up triggering one at the general store and it didn't cause any issue.
