So… I’m unsure if this is meant to be the case, and I really didn’t want to post about this publicly in case it’s not but this seemed to be the best way to report it. (Feel free to delete my post if you don’t want the public knowing about this.)
Basically, if your inventory is full and you’re picking up foragables - If you only have room for a specific quality item, then you can keep trying to pick up the item and eventually it will reroll it to that quality.
If that didn’t make sense, essentially today I had my inventory just full of osmium quality ocean foragables. And when I went to pick up another one, it would first tell me my inventory is full because it can’t fit a different quality, and then I tried to pick up the item again, and it would pick up an osmium quality of that item after however many tries. As if it is rerolling the quality of the item every time you attempt to pick it up.
I’m sorry if this is an exploit I just revealed to the world, but I also wanted you guys to be aware of it!! I play on PC, and as far as I’m concerned this is something you can always do with any item that is pre-spawned in the world.
