Reproduction Steps: Was playing the game as usual, nothing out of the norm, and now my girlfriend can't see the pets we adopted. They are invisible for her but if i tell her where they are she can still talk to them.
Repro Rate: I adopted the second pet, and then a couple days into having them they just disappeared for her, so ever since then its just been constant.
Game Platform: Steam
Game Version: v1.2-1239

Hi @gentle harness , thank you for reaching out to us! Could you let us know the in-game date when you adopted the pet? Do you remember what the Host and the Guest were doing before the pet disappeared for the Guest?
Also, could you send your Backup Files here so we can take a closer look?
Host and guest had started a new day and host was farming and guest was fishing prior to the disappearance. I, however, have no idea when we adopted the pets. The dog we got at the end of Spring and the cat we got at the beginning of summer. The backup files are following this message:
Just to confirm, does the issue persist until the following day, or is it only limited to the day you noticed the issue?
Update: It persisted for several days and it was almost a full season before they reappeared for her.
Thank you for your confirmation! Could you let us know if it still happens after the host restarts the co-op session?
It still happened several times after we’d re-login. At some point we said oh well and kept playing for a while and they randomly showed back up for her on a new day.
My hypothesis is that by leading her to them and letting her talk to them a couple times it forced them to reappear somehow but I’m not sure.
Got it! If the issue comes up again, please don’t hesitate to reach out. When you do, it would be really helpful if you could include a brief summary of the actions you took in-game that day, along with your most recent Save File so we can take a closer look 😉
