I passed out from exhaustion in our multiplayer save and instead of it sending me home or anything it just froze me on the ground until my friend ended the day.
I wish that maybe we could allow the other play to help us or even gift an item to get our energy back? (gifting items to friends in general would be nice.) It's just a bit unfortunate that we missed out on a good chunk of the day because of this. 
We are both on steam. The save file is only 2 players. I was unable to esc to menu or access my inventory during this.
