Reproduction Steps:

  1. From main menu, select "co-op"
  2. Go to host tab
  3. Select my save file
  4. Game crashes and PlayStation error reporting window appears with error code CE-108255-1

**Repro Rate: **100% - happens every time I try to load this specific save
**Game Platform: **PlayStation 5
**Game Version: **1.002.017
Input Mode: Controller (PS5 host), Keyboard (PC guest during previous sessions)
**PC and GPU specs details: **N/A - crash occurs on PS5 console
**Crash log: **Error code CE-108255-1 (PlayStation system error). Full crash report submitted through PlayStation's error reporting system.

Your save file: Save file is stored in PlayStation cloud storage. The save file appears to be completely corrupted - last played on Friday with no issues noticed, but now fails to load.
**Attachment: **Video recording of the crash included in post. Additional crash data submitted through PlayStation's built-in reporting system.
**Additional Context: **This was a co-op save where PS5 was host and PC was guest. The save worked fine during last session on Friday, but became completely unusable as of today. PlayStation system is fully updated.

We have invested approximately 40 hours into this save file, so we would be very grateful if someone could look into this issue when possible.

I noticed the issue happened on Spring 8, Year 2. If you remember, could you share what your in-game activities were on Spring 7?

Also, I saw you created a new save file — are you able to open and play that one without any crash?

Thank you for the quick response. Yes, other saves load without any problems. Unfortunately, I don't remember what specific activities we were doing that particular day. It's possible that I enchanted items for the first time. We were cleaning up the farm, I created a lot of chests, and I was organizing items.

Hi I was told to post my details here so the info would all be in the same place

  • Reproduction Steps Opened the game to a message saying a save corrupted but had been restored via backup, but whenever I try to open my multiplayer save the game crashes
  • Repro Rate Every time I try to load that specific multiplayer save (other saves load perfectly fine without any crashes)
  • Game Platform PlayStation 5
  • Game Version v1.2-1238
  • Input Mode Controller
    Other saves have been tested including other online saves.

Unfortunately, I can confirm. I downloaded the latest patch on PS5 today. After launching the game and loading an old save, the same crash still occurs. Is it possible that the bug was fixed, but the save is corrupted? In that case, will we be forced to start the game from the beginning?

I’m having a similar issue. My PlayStation portal version of coral island has not updated to 1.2-1242 I am stuck on 1240 and this is preventing me from playing my co-op world with anyone
