Game “crashes” when I run out of stamina or get forced out of the ocean.

My game has crashed twice within a half hour period. First was when my character fainted second was when it hit 11 and we had to leave the ocean. Both times on steam deck.

Did the game properly crash or did you get stuck on a black loading screen? I wonder since you put crash in quotation marks. There's a thread here about an issue with getting stuck on a black screen when getting auto-pulled up from diving, you can check if that seems like the same case for you?

Hi @dusty meadow , thank you for reaching out to us! Could you let us know what platform you use to play? Also could you confirm if you were playing on Single Player or Co-Op mode?

I was on my steam deck in single player mode! I also posted about it on Reddit, this server is SUPER overwhelming at first and I haven’t had a chance to look at all of the pinned posts!

i wasn't sure the right terminology, i'm on my deskop now and can read my messages better, but yes, it is just a black screen. it never gets past the black screen either

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for your patience. We've received similar reports, and the team is currently working on a fix.

In the meantime, you can try diving through the pier or going back to the surface before 11:00 PM to avoid it.
