[Spooky Festival] Host stuck after collecting reward from Scavenger Hunt

• Reproduction Steps:
  ->Join the Spooky Festival with your other party P2
  -> Play minigames (not sure if necessary but we played all minigames before noticing the Scavenger Hunt)
  *Update on that: We retried and did the Hunt first THEN the minigames. Host did not get stuck this time around
  ->Host picks up all Scavenger Hunt items
  ->Host and P2 go and collect the reward together
  ->Host movement is now stuck and can only dash (scrolling through menus, consuming items is still possible but they are unable to move)
• **Repro Rate: ** So far just once, it was our first time attending the festival.
• **Players & Platform: **Host & P2, both on Steam
• Game version: v1.2-1239
• Input Mode: Host - Controller/ P2- Mouse & Keyboard

If you happen to replicate the issue again, could you capture a video of both host POV and the guest’s POV? This would be extremely helpful for us to investigate further.

Also, could you share your SaveGames folder in a .zip file here?

Regarding replicating, we replayed the day but this time did the Hunt before anything else and I did not get stuck anymore

**Reproduction Steps: **While playing multiplayer, We completed the scavenger hunt and both opened the chest to get a diamond then I the host could only dash downward in to a house, my MP partner did not lose movement but since we all couldn't agree to leave or start the parade we had to quit the game and lose the day's progress
Repro Rate: We got it for the second time today here is our save file as well it seems the recording never started but ill try again soon
**Game Platform: **MP both players on Steam
**Game Version: **v1.2-1243
**Input Mode: **Keyboard and mouse, when it happened then I also connected a controller and still could not move after checking to make sure they were not unmapped still had no movement ability
Save file or recording: save attached not sure if it needed to be zipped or not

Going to try again without the MP partner in the game and to try and get the recording

seems i did not freeze with MP partner disconnected while i was recording of course

had them reconnect after i got the chest and they could alo get the pink diamond and neither of us lost movement but they could recollect the scavenger items

I had no issues on year 2 and 3 on that same save file with the scavenger hunt

I hope it's allowed to Necro this thread since I am not part of the team, I had the same issue as described by Aika just yesterday.

However, for us it seemed to be the people participating in the scavenger hunt. First it was our host and another player who did it and got stuck. We then replayed the day and I was the only one collecting the eyes. Then all the guest players collected their reward but only I got stuck.

Also the players who got stuck could NOT use any items or the item bar in general, so consuming an item wasn't an option. We also switched over to the controller, which did not help either.

I noticed that, while the stuck players were dashing, they were carrying the pink diamond in their hand.

Lastly, this happened to us in year 2 but not in year 1. In year one I was also the only one collecting the eyes.

Just to confirm, you mentioned earlier that when you got stuck, the host experienced it as well. At that time, was your friend (as the host) also holding a pink diamond when the issue happened?

I presume you mean the pink diamond and not a diamond pickaxe? If so then yes, any player that got stuck could be seen holding a pink diamond while dashing. 😊

Could you please provide the host’s save file where this issue consistently happens?

The host can find it by copy-paste this file path to the File Explorer: **%localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames
** then compress the SaveGames folder into a ZIP file before sending it here.

@regal fractal we had something similiar today. Spooky Festial year 3. After talking to ~10 NPC and collecting 2 "eyes" the guest player could no longer move (WSAD buttons didn't work, only SPACE worked). Alt+Tab didn't allow to go to Windows desktop (normally it does). Guest player killed Coral Island process and rejoined the session. When guest player was in the lobby choosing his character host player's character got stuck (it reacted neither to WASD nor to SPACE). Host's Alt+Tab also didn't allow to go to Windows desktop. We had to kill the session and whole day was lost...
EDIT: It was our first Spooky Festival with merfolk. Both players think the issue occured for each of them after talking to Sumeru.

Hey Ardian, me and our host finally got around to extracting the save file, be aware that our host has a total of 3 different farms they host, it should be the largest one, farm name is "Unicorn" 😄
