I was on Frozen Pond and completed the level, I grabbed the victory chest as soon as the boss grabbed me. Still had my mouse cursor and could click on "something" and I'm guessing the "Chest Rewards Menu" stacked on top of the load screen triggering an infinite black screen.

@stoic nova just grab the chest before the boss grabs you or you'll always get this bug unfortunately.
