#"Starlet expedition" Quest Didn't Track Progress

Today, I realized one of the quests, "Starlet expedition," didn't track. I have no possible way to prove that I've completed it, since it took me several in-game days to realize it. In the quest, I must "Give 30 Osmium Kelp Essence to Cho Oyu," and "Give 75 Osmium Crop to Cho Oyu."
The first thing I did when I got the quest was give 30 Osmium Kelp Essence to Cho Oyu because I had been hoarding a bunch to sell for money. I even got the response message from Cho Oyu after I submitted the essence. Thinking that was out of the way, I continued to farm for the next week until I got my 75 Osmium crops. When I went to give the crops to Cho Oyu, I didn't get any completion. Upon checking my quest tab, the Essence was still 0/30. Obviously, I'll still work to complete that, but I'm bothered that I wasted 30 Osmium Kelp Essence when I could've used that abundance of Essence elsewhere. I'm hoping I'm not the only one who had this issue since I have no way to show I did submit the essence.

I actually have an update!
I decided to try to grind the 30 Osmium Kelp Essence out once more. While I was doing so, I checked the quest tab, and my progress was actually erased. The previous screenshot shows that I did submit the 75 Osmium crops. Now, that progress is gone too.
This is the same game file; I only have one. You can see on the date that this is three in-game days later.

My progress for this quest was randomly reset after a crash as well. I had donated the kelp several in game days before the crash and it reset the whole quest. Luckily I’m a hoarder as well so I should still have enough kelp to make more, but it was mildly annoying

This happened to me too. I completed the crop part and was still collecting kelp. At one point the game crashed and I wasted the 75 osmium crops now since the quest reset.

Yeah, seeing this happening to others after their game crashed, but my game hasn't crashed and it's still happening myself.
