#Not Displaying Save Files when selecting "Play."

Reproduction Steps: Launch Coral Island. Select "Play" from start menu. No save files displayed. Circular loading symbol spins endlessly. (I even attempted to start a new save file last night, played through 4 in game days, and the file exists on my PC, but it isn't displayed to play either now that I am trying to return to it today.)
Repro Rate: Every time I try to play.
Game Platform: Steam
Game Version: v1.2-1239
Input Mode: Keyboard and Mouse
Your save file: Not a file specific issue. May also be worth noting that verifying all of my game files, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the game have not fixed the issue. I can start new games, but none of my existing saves display, even the new ones I create, save, and try to return to.

In the meantime, here are a couple of steps you could try:

  • Turn off Steam Cloud, then go to your SaveGames folder. Copy everything inside to another folder as a backup, then delete the contents of the SaveGames folder (but not the folder itself). After that, launch the game, create a new save, and return to the main menu to check if the save file appears.
  • Try hosting a multiplayer session alone, play briefly as the host, then return to the main menu to see if your multiplayer save file shows up.
