Explanation:
I currently cannot provide a screenshot, so I’ll try to describe the issue in as much detail as possible.
This bug only affects the guest player. It is related to diving and mostly involves kelp (any type of kelp, the specific variety does not matter).
Sometimes the guest player sees kelp that no longer exists. They can try to harvest it, but nothing happens. Meanwhile, the host sees that there is no kelp at that location. Most likely, the host had already harvested that kelp—either earlier on the same day, or even on the previous day during a farming run.
In a related situation, the guest player (who usually handles most of the diving progress) once removed trash in the osmium area and simultaneously harvested kelp they could not actually see. This seems to be the same issue in reverse. Our assumption is that kelp positions are not properly synchronized or reloaded for the guest.
We also encountered this problem once with sea salt, but only a single time. That might be because I usually only dive for kelp farming and rarely collect other items.
I believe several players may already have tried to report this bug, but without following the bug-reporting guidelines, so the issue might have been overlooked.
