I went to dive around the silver kelps area 22-23m, spent the whole day there, came up, went to do some errands and walked to the general store. Eva had an option for event, so went with it, visited the Bathhouse (helping with cleaning), at the end of the event, the game crashed.
It was around 17:00 in-game time.

Since, I play on 50% time settings, it was around 40-50 minutes of game time which is completely wasted. Not sure if it is possible, but I would recommend some mid-day saving options, for example if an activity is ending. Ex: someone coming out of the mine, at the end of the diving session, etc.
It is quite difficult to maintain the passion to the otherwise amazing game when really valuable length of time is just wasted due a crash and not player friendly saving mechanic.
