Every bit of the info helps the devs out in fixing the issue! Please note that the use of mods or any type of file alteration and the devs can not assist you!
To report a bug, please use the template below. Copy, paste it, and fill it out with your experience in your post!
- Title (Provide a short summary of the issue)
- Reproduction Steps (Explain the steps leading to the issue you are experiencing)
- Repro Rate (How often does the issue occur?)
- Game Platform (Steam, PC Game Pass, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5)
- Game Version (This can be found right below the Exit button on the title screen or at the bottom right of your game screen)
- Input Mode (Keyboard and mouse / Controller, Steam Deck = Controller)
- Your save file
- Attachment (Save File & Additional Image/Video)
How to find your save file?

PC:
Copy and paste this into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames. Attach the DailySave_[number].sav file to your report. -
Steam Deck:
Your save file is most likely stored in the 'compatdata' directory. The filepath is: /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata.
From there, you will see many folders with random numbers. The Coral Island folder should have the code number '1158160'.
Enter that folder, then navigate to the pfx folder, then drive_c folder. Follow this path: Users<username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames to find your save file. -
Xbox X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox PC
No need to include your save file, but any picture/video recording and detailed explanation are very helpful.

Hi @strange pier , thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! Could you let us know if the Save File got deleted entirely or if the progress gets reverted in any way? Did you enable Steam Cloud to keep the game's Save File?
I think the files are completely deleted but I don't understand why. I didn't delete them and always used the steam cloud and now everything is gone.

Hi, do you remember the real-time date when you last played the game? In addition, could you please screenshot your steam cloud storage for us?

- Search for Coral Island and click Show Files
- Screenshot what's shown there then send it here
