POTATOES year one as soon as you can and as many as you can. when you can craft mason jars pickle those potatoes and keep a few till your next harvest to continue pickling while they grow. don't skip out on diving its annoying at first but once you get into the swing of it its a lot easier and you need the kelp for sprinklers for those potatoes!
