PS5, single player, random crashes during the day

Hi, my game has been crashing on PS5, and I am about to rage quit.

Reproduction Steps (Explain the steps leading to the issue you are experiencing)

The crash has happened 3 times now in the last 2 hours, I only started playing yesterday and yesterday everything was fine. I’m on day 19-22 spring year 1.

The first crash happened on day 19. Woke up, did watering etc. tried to warp to the cavern, got the teleporting animation and everything but teleported from the farm to the farm?? So I was like okay I’ll walk. Walked to the mine, did mining till around 16:00 in game time and walked back to the farm, upon entering the farm, was almost in front of my house, the game crashed.

Crash 2 was a similar scenario. So I restarted the PS5 and I just did things on the farm on day 19 and went to sleep, day 20 came and the warp was working normally again. I did the tree planting festival and it was now the next day. Went to the mine, warp working normally, mined till around 14:00 in game time, and the game just suddenly crashes, mid mining. All progress lost again.

I'm so sorry for the multiple crashes you’ve encountered — especially after losing your in-game progress. I totally understand how frustrating that must be. 🙏

To help us investigate further, could you share a bit more detail about your activities in the mines? For example, which mine did you enter, and from which floor to what level? Also, did you happen to craft or use any ropes before the issue occurred?

Hi, I was in the earth mines (searching for shiitake mushrooms for luke I think), I haven’t made any ropes yet. I have unlocked the water mine as well, which I had gone to but I was back in the earth mine. I played again last night for 2h or so with no crashes, but I am playing with screen recording on so if it happens again I will send it through.
