When should the line appear, from one day to the next? Or in the middle of a conversation with your husband?

As long as you have the last house upgrade for the children rooms, you have a % chance of being asked every night. That % goes up the more hearts you have with your spouse. But it is just RNG.

Ohhh, yeah, i have the full upgradet house. I just thought it would be easier to get the question about the kids.
Does that question happens after going to sleep? Could I get it if I restart the day once and again, or I have to play every in-game day to get it?
