Light Ring does not work for co op partner (not host)

Reproduction Steps: Is not linked to anything player does. It is a persistent issue and cant be solved.
In-Game Date & Time: Always
Players & Platform: 2 players. Both on steam/PC. I am hosting.
Game Version: v1.2-1238
Input Mode: Keyboard & Mouse
PC Specs: 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700F, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
Attachments (if available): 2 photos. One from my (host) perspective where it looks like both of us have light emitting from our rings. Other photo is P2's view where he does not see any light emitting from either of our rings. My ring works fine for me.

Having the same issue, I'm on pc and the host is on ps5.
