Hello! I am reporting this as a bug because it still feels like one and I want to call attention to it after this long after v1.0:
State Issue One
When using the Sturdy Computer to look at forecasts that have individual forage and catching spawns (both land and sea), the little museum icon does not indicate if you have donated it, unlike with the fish forecast. See attached video.
The butterflies and grasshopper are both donated (per the journal Caught section) but the Sturdy Computer disagrees.
On a related note, you don't see the offering/mural icon for forecasts either, which feels like an oversight.
State Issue Two
You can also see in the video that all five qualities (no quality to osmium) display as if I have caught those insects in all five qualities. I don't think this is the case, and certainly not for every single catchable, foraged and fishable item in the game.
Reproduction Steps
- Plop down a Sturdy Computer with all the forecast chips enabled.
- Catch an insect, forage something, and/or catch a fish that you have not caught/donated before.
- Inspect its state in the journal: you got them all!
- Now donate it!
- Again look at the entry in the journal and compare with the forecast. The forecast still shows its museum icon as if not donated.
