the game has crashed twice when another player in my lobby has tried to decorate their house. this has been the case every time, as it has happened twice and my friends have tried to decorate their house twice.

  • i (host) was in the clothing store this time, unsure of last time as this has happened twice. i think last time i was in the mines or foraging.
  • it has crashed both times the other player tries to decorate their house
  • the most recent one happened spring 22, unsure of time - around 1300ish. i don't have a time/date for the first time it happened

Players & Platform: me (host) and my bf, both on steam.
Game Version: v1.2-1238
Input Mode: i use controller, he uses mkb
PC Specs: i7-11700f, 3060ti, 16gb ram

i uploaded the crash report and save file for the most recent crash, i don't have any clips though!

Hello @quasi fern,
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for reporting this to us! 🙏

Could you confirm if the crash happens right when player 2/guest opens the Decor Mode menu, or only after they start selecting furniture (either in the house or from the Decor Storage)?

#

Oh, and also - did the game crash and the Unreal Engine pop-up window appear in both of you? 😮

Thank you!

Hi @cedar swallow!
I’m sorry about the crash, and thank you for sharing this with us. 🙏

Could you let us know how many times the issue has occurred? For example, does it still persist after you or the host restarts the game?

Also, could you share what the host’s in-game activities were when you opened Decor Mode in your house?

That info will really help the team investigate further. Thank you!
