PS5 Solar panel crash

• Title Solar Panel battery Crash
• Reproduction Steps When my friend, who is host, goes to collect a battery produced by a solar panel, it causes my game to crash. Collecting the battery does not cause his game to crash, only mine. It will give me a grey screen saying something went wrong with this game or app.
• Repro Rate It occurs every time my friend (the host) collects a battery produced by a solar panel.
• In-Game Date & Time: Any time of the day
• Game Platform PlayStation 5. 2 players are playing in total.
• Game Version V1 2-1238
• Input Mode Controller

I would just like to add to my report above. I tested trying to take the batteries out of the solar panel myself, but I am unable to do so since it crashes the game.

Hi again @primal swift , thanks so much for letting us know about this issue! To help us understand it better, could you walk us through what you and the guest were doing leading up to when the problem happened?

If you're able to reproduce the issue, it would be a huge help if you could capture a video and share it with us here. Even a quick recording from your phone would give us a clearer view and help us investigate further

Hello I’m the one that he plays with. I’m the host so what happens if I go to the solar panel to collect the battery’s it crash’s he’s whole game completely on ps5 also happens with picking up random stuff like the stuff that drops from the pig truffles he picks them up crash’s him I pick them up and the battery no problem he crash’s so hope this helps u guys with fixing the problem and crash’s where loving the game still 👍

This is happening to me (host) and my p2 on ps5. Every time I take out a battery from the solar panel, his game crashes. He's been dashing, leaving his house, or just standing still when I pick up the battery.

I can confirm I have the same issue with my partner. 2x PS5. If host picks up the second player crash. If the second player takes it it will also crash.

If you could replicate the issue, could you record a video from the Host's and Guest's point of view when the Host takes the battery from the solar panel? This would assist us in further investigating the issue

This also happens to us.
Cannot pick up batteries from the solar panels, truffles or gesha beans from animals, or collect mushrooms from the drying machine without it crashing my friends game. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Start up the server with multiplayer and try to pick up the battery from the solar panel
Repro Rate: How often does the issue occur?
Every single time, even if the host is the one to pick up the batteries
In-Game Date & Time: When did the crash happen in-game?
Please check attached video for more details.
Players & Platform: How many players joined? Tag them and note who was Host, P2, P3, and P4, plus what platform each was on (e.g. Steam, Xbox Series X/S, PS5).

Also happens every time either player tries to collect a mushroom from the mushroom log

I have encountered this same crash, with both the batteries and the mushroom logs causing the non-host to crash. Any updates?

Hi. Since this bug exist months ago now can we expect that the next bug fix patch fixing this? Battery is essential for mid-late game.

The team is currently working on it, and we’re aiming to have it resolved in the next update. The build is now being tested by our external QA team, and the process will take around 1–2 weeks.
