Its the second time in a row that its crashed in the exact same spot, same time. I unlocked the wind(?) portion of the mines, and before the day ends, around midnight, the game, goes straight to menu.

I just did it 3x in a row, and without fail, the moment I unlock the Wind Mine, it crashes host side.

We resolved the issue.
Apparently the host needed to interact with the Earth Giant before progressing the mines. She had never stepped foot in the mines, prior.
Must be a bug involving that cutscene not triggering for the non-host.
